Sunday
Yesterday it was an interesting day. There was this big white orb up in the sky, an unfamiliar presence. It was bright, it gave off heat, it hadn’t been noticed for a while. I think it was the Sun. But I woke up this morning to more clouds…
And as you can see from the radar image above, there’s another rare occurrence happening in Texas. It’s a midsummer cold front… I can’t get to excited about it because the prognosticators are indicating that it won’t make it down to the Texas Gulf Coast. It’s going to hang up somewhere between Dallas and Houston. So while we fall back under cloud cover… Again. The heat and humidity will undoubtedly hang around.
And so, today will be a makeup day for all the things that didn’t happen yesterday while we were on the road.
Though, I thought I would share this image that showed up in my phone gallery from 14 years ago…
Number one son with number one grandson. And let’s not forget barbecue ribs…
Y’all stay safe, stay healthy, pray for the nation and the world.
