It’s been mostly cloudy this morning. Already, at midmorning, the temperature is 85.

I’ve spent the morning doing chores, so even though today’s photos are from the front porch. I didn’t spend my morning muse time out in the heat and humidity.

I stopped at the local HEB yesterday afternoon. Besides seeing way too many unmasked faces, I found a good stock of flours for the first time in a couple of months.

The presence of the flour came at a good time as my attempt at growing my own sourdough starter seems to be at the point where I can attempt my first loaf.

One of the nice things about the front yard is how well it hides the surrounding homes from view. It really makes sitting on the front porch pleasant… other than the heat.

Well, I’m thru with mug number two. I think I’ll move on. Catch you on the other side.
