I see the postal service is busy today delivering Amazon packages. And thanks to the Texas Legislature,  anyone who hijacks those packages off of front porches will, as of yesterday, be committing a felony.

The changing of the calendar has yet to mark a change in the weather. It’s still starting out warm and growing hotter as the day goes by.

I haven’t looked yet to check on Dorian, but the changes in the track yesterday make me worry a bit for the entire eastern seaboard. If the storm stays  just offshore like projected, storm surges will pile in from Florida to North Carolina.

Well the kids are home, so it’ll be a fight to check the news today…
