It’s warm, it’s humid from all of the rain yesterday, but it’s actually a rather nice end of August morning coffee muses.

I found myself playing with my new phone this morning. I haven’t activated it yet, ill do that tomorrow, but I am trying out all the features and playing a bit over the Wi-Fi network. The pictures posted today all came from the new phone… though this post is being handled by the Kindle.

The city workers are back on site already, so I guess we’ll get the driveway done today. They just headed up to the corner to start shutting down the road.

After mentioning not hearing the Mississippi Kite yesterday, I just heard it flying by this morning.

It’s time to Chang seats if I’m to stay outside… The sun is beginning to beat down on the back of my neck.

Well, a fresh cup of coffee, a new seat in the shade, the work crew getting started right in front of my house. Call me the front porch superintendent. Since this is their last workday till next week they better get it done. And the first scoop of dirt goes into the dump truck…
