Warming, Humid Saturday Morning Coffee Muses

The heat is back… along with the humidity. The sun is rapidly warming up the back porch so I removed myself back inside.

I slept in and now I’m paying the price. I need to get a move on so this will be a very short post…

For another perspective on Harvey check out Watered In over at The Task at Hand. Linda has a unique way of writing about the world around her. I always enjoy her spin on things.

It almost seems that GC Myers is channeling the Harvey experience himself with his Labor Day post…

If you have never checked out his work you can find it at Red Tree Times.

Stay safe everyone.

  1. Hope your day was a fine one. I made the trek across 517 today from 146 to Algoa-Friendswood, and it wasn’t pretty. All I kept thinking was, I sure hope the sun keeps shining. Thanks for the mention, and best wishes for you folks as these rivers keep rising.

    1. We wandered over to Sam’s in League City through some neighborhoods. Seeing everyone’s piles of flooded furniture, clothes, carpet and pad was eye opening.

Luckily, we are far from the rivers. And, our bayou has almost fallen to normal levels.
