Texas Barbeque

Aaron Franklin has become my goto person when it comes to improving my smoking of big chunks of meat…

It was probably his use of a small backyard smoker in his video series that convince me to replace my old rusted out charbroiler with a Old Country. So far, following his videos has turned out some good results…

  1. A perfect post for lunchtime! But, I guess for right now, I’ll stick with my cottage cheese and freshly-picked peaches from Dickinson. 🙂

    1. What can I say… I was checking email when this pooped up in my YouTube feed. At the time I was having left over chicken salad and crackers for brunch after spending the morning working the phones over plumbing issues. I think a late lunch from What-a-burger might be what the doctor never would order but I’ll enjoy just the same.

We drove over the Brazos River yesterday to see the waters spreading out ofthe banks. It was strangely disturbing to see the waters along the highway actually flowing backwards away from the river… The road to the Nash was closed and under water at Cow Creek.
