May 28 Muse – 2015

Thursday morning coffee and the sun is out, the humidity is ridiculous, and there is a faint odor of rotting vegetation in the air. Green lizards scamper across the porch at my feet. Bluebirds flutter down in front of me, stealing bugs from the lizards, while cardinals sing from multiple trees. And off in the far corner of the backyard… a bobcat casually crosses the grass.

I think it’s time to go in and get another cup…

  1. This just popped up, from May 28. I had to laugh, after I did my double-think and realized you probably are just filling in the spaces. Either that, or some server has been on vacation and is trying to catch up. 😉

Somehow I got a notice about yesterday’s Brazo flooding in my twitter timeline — probably as a retweet by NWS. In any event, I went and took a look at some of the photos. My, goodness. It was clear that one of the roads I saw was 25, and I think just north of Nash. In any event, I think I’ll not go over for at least a little while.

    1. Linda, I sprang for a cheap little tablet a couple of weeks ago and have been using it to post my morning muses on Facebook. Today it hit me that I should really copy them to the blog since they are becoming almost blog posts instead of just little status updates… So that’s the reason it just popped up… You will be seeing more as the morning goes by and I try to get caught up.

Another thing I am working on is going back through my original posts and cleaning up the code, checking links and adding back the images that got lost, as well as new images where none were ever placed. It is not a quick process.

      Enjoy this cool morning…
