I guess since this is a rebuild of the original, I suppose I should explain the name of this site.

Way back in May of 2006 I started a blog I called North Carolina Mountain Dreams at WordPress.com. Over the course of that first year I noticed a lot of what I was writing had nothing to do with the North Carolina Mountains. I had set up a category for those “off subject” posts called Coffee Muses, with the explanation that those posts were meanderings of my mind as I drank my morning coffee before heading off to work.

As time went by those odd little “Coffee Muses” began to take over that blog. At some point I decided to look into the domain name CoffeeMuses.com. It was available. It didn’t cost a lot of money. So, I aquired it and moved all of the Coffee Muses category of posts to their own site. Which I managed to delete last week…
