Two years ago today I started North Carolina Mountain Dreams, my first blog. That first post was entitled “Inventing the Myth as I Go“. It seems that not much has changed in two years. I am still dreaming about the mountains, still creating the myth of my life as I go.

I have become friends with some amazing people through the pages of these blogs I pour my meager muses into. Some I have actually met, some are just “imaginary friends” (to borrow a phrase). Where this all is heading is still to become evident…but I wouldn’t miss the ride for anything.
