Stepped out on the back porch this morning for that essential first cup and the heat and humidity hit me full in my face…

It’s so sad that it’s such a beautiful day. Blue skies with a scattering of white fluffy clouds. I hear my first hum of cicadas as the slightest breeze ruffles the trees. Dragonflies patrol the air above the overly tall grasses.
